The Battle of the Breaststroke
November 19th
For six years, the Men's 100 Breast record sat uncontested, yet this season multiple Warriors have passed the 2012 mark! Over the past month, these two young men have battled the breastroke in an ongoing exchange of the record board. Only a few weeks ago, David Alas took down the 2012 mark, followed by Cooper Willetts one week later. Cooper's 13-day record was captured by David last Friday during the Gulf TISCA Prelims, only to be reclaimed by Cooper in Finals later that night! Currently, Cooper holds the board with a stunning 59.29, while David is only eleven hundredths behind with a speedy 59.40! Congratulations, gentlemen and keep up the great work!
