Good afternoon Warrior Family!

Your HCYA Leadership came together to review all the applications submitted for the position of Team Captain. Sorting through the applications was an honor, though a difficult task given the number of exceptional student-athletes who represent HCYA Swimming. After giving thought to the 2019-20 season, the Leadership determined that the selection of four captains shall be based on the following qualities: leadership and loyalty to the team and teammates, dedication and commitment to the team and to meets throughout past seasons, maturity and humility in sport with teammates and opponents, courage and consistency displayed at events, as well as God-like character and values. 

As a member of HCYA Swimming, it is easy to find these qualities possessed by all our swimmers; hence, the decision did not come lightly. With that, we are proud to announce in alphabetical order, the 2019-20 HCYA Swimming Team Captains: Josiah Cheng-Guajardo, Thad Dickerson, Gabriel Hedlund, and Andrew Little.
