Howdy HCYA Warrior Swimmers & Families!

Time is creeping up on us pretty quickly & we know you have questions! In lieu of a "formal" team get together in person (for now) we'd like to have a zoom call for all team information, get to know our coaches & team facilitators, & a possible chance to get to know one another a little bit more. 

The zoom call will be **THIS** Sunday, Sept. 14 at 3pm. We know this time can be tricky for some related to church, activities, being out of town, or naptime ;) This is also a very quick notification & some can not change any plans. We totally absolutely understand! We will be recording the meeting for those that can not attend in person, though we ask you to try your best to attend the Zoom call. It will be better if we can see & get to know each others faces for a little bit & help answer any questions that may arise that others may want to hear, as well. Our experienced team member families can also help in our discussions. If you can not attend, send me questions you have beforehand & we will make sure to comment on them in the call.

In the future, we will try to also have a casual full high school & middle school team get-together possibly before our 1st (high school) swim meet &/or at the conclusion of that meet. Wow! It's already upon us...Sat. Sept. 27! In the meantime, please take a look at the calendar at hcyaswimming.swimtopia.com & add these events to your personal calendars (note the HS & MS difference). There have been a few additions & there will likely be a couple more as we discuss more possibilities with other team coaches. 

This time of year is flooded with making many decisions & getting going on all school studies. Being homeschooled parents, we know it can be a bit challenging. Hopefully this zoom meeting will ease some of your worries, help answer any questions you may have, & put faces to names to feel more personable. 

Personally, I'm very excited for this new swim season & year ahead! I look forward to seeing our previous team members & meeting our newest ones. If you know of any other swimmer that is homeschooled & possibly interested or wants to know more about joining our HCYA Warriors team, let them know of this zoom call & have them reach out to me to possibly be added to have questions answered & see if this would be a good fit for them.
